Antoinette Lee, MBA, is an outdoor industry influencer, model, and brand ambassador for several top-tier outdoor companies, including Carhartt, Kokatat, and Badfish SUP. She is the co-founder of Diversify Whitewater and founder of the American Adventure Sports Club with a mission of providing free adventure sports training to anyone with a financial need.

Antoinette is a DEI marketing implementation consultant who serves on the America Outdoors DEI task force.

She can usually be found in the North Woods of Wisconsin, stewarding the forest and river around her homestead while living the adventure sports lifestyle.

Her debut book is Four Hours to LiveA Soldier’s Journey of Adoption, Assault, and Advocacy. Aside from an amazing recovery journey from using a walker, a service dog, and a full-time caregiver after a traumatic brain injury, spinal injury, and PTSD, Antoinette shows you how to create your “new normal” and live the “biggest life” you can envision.

Before a career in writing, Antoinette worked as an Information Technology Chief Executive Officer (CEO) marketing executive, program manager, IT project manager, software designer, and a certified IT call center manager for several Department of Defense and other federal, city, and state agencies. 

She proudly served eleven years in the United States Army during the Gulf War era as a database administrator, dental clinic manager, Army recruiter, dental assistant, dental hygienist, and an air assault qualified, expert field medic throughout her military career.

Her exciting life in several business sectors on two continents has provided her with an endless array of characters, locations, and experiences for her freelance and personal writing works of fiction, nonfiction, and educational writing.

Antoinette trained for transformational public speaking with Lisa Nichols and Susie Carder at Motivating the Masses.

Through her ‘New Normal Big Life’ program, she helps people end sadness, excel at work and school, and create the relationships they have always dreamed of.

She began her speaking career by discussing innovative ways information technology professionals can provide exceptional customer service amid supporting an ever-increasing number of devices, applications, and computing platforms.

Later, Antoinette became an advocate and historian for the technical programs she designed and developed for government agencies. You can read about Antoinette’s work in TechRepublic and Crosstalk — the journal of defense software engineering.

These days, Antoinette talks to corporations, veteran’s groups, people of color, youth groups, schools, and others about overcoming life’s challenges to create their new normal and live as big a life as they can envision.

She also speaks on how to engage people of color to become conservation advocates. And is a consultant in the outdoor industry with America Outdoors Association and others.
